I have never used any products on my eyebrows before– my grandmother is a very harsh/severe-looking pencil user, and since we shared the same red hair, I was leery of what they would do to my face. That said, I am always told defined brows do wonders to accentuate, so I gave this kit a try. You can’t beat it, for the money, and the color matches perfectly! (Especially the light ashy-blonde shade. The darker shade could be the tiniest bit more red, but I think that would make it less usable for dyed hair, so they picked a more universal tone.) I uploaded a picture of my eyebrows after/before use, in the image gallery.

A perfect match for cool-toned brunettes!

Makeup colors are tricky for me. I have very fair, cool-toned skin and medium-dark ash brown hair. There is not a lot of room for tonal error when your skin is as pale as mine — it’s nearly like painting onto a blank white canvas — and finding a brow product has been a challenge. I have found that nearly all brown brow products have red undertones that clash with the cool gold-to-green undertones of my naturally minky/mousy hair color. Products marketed to blondes tend to be cooler-toned, but are too light to hold up against my dark hair.

The colors are very good and I love them

The colors are very good and I love them. The brush that comes with it is kind of terrible for outlining the brow though. Too thick. I recommend buying a separate brush. Otherwise this is a nice set for those beginners and experienced!

When I was younger, I fell off a swing and busted my head open. It left me with a scar by one of my eyebrows that does not grow hair- so my eyebrows never look even. I also HATE the harsh “clearly my eyebrows are drawn on” look, so I have been on the market for an eyebrow product for quite some time. This is the best one that I have come across. I use the shade on the top and it takes a few quick strokes of the brush on my brow and it’s over. It is also very forgiving, so if you put too much product you can just brush it and it blends in. Love it. It just makes me look much more put together.

The wax really helps

This product works for me. I am 60 and due to age and/or hormones, my eyebrows are thinning. My natural hair color is dark auburn so I chose the Brunette shade. I think black would have been too dark and harsh for my face. Having never worn eyebrow makeup before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. My daughter suggested I try a product like this rather than an eyebrow pencil because I have a tremor in my primary hand. It took some practice but I’ve gotten the hang of it. I actually combine the two shades together and that creates the shade that looks most natural on my eyebrows. I use a touch of the wax to smooth them after color application. I am retired and not tremendously active or athletic, so for my purposes, I only need to apply the product once a day. Depending on what you’re doing throughout the day, you might want to touch it up, but I am only guessing here. Having never used an eyebrow product before, I have nothing to compare it to. I believe the little brush makes it easier to apply versus a pencil, taking into account the tremor in my hand. I’m very satisfied with the product.

Recently dyed my hair a ginger red for the first time, and this helped my eyebrows match great with my new hair tone.

Best brow stuff I’ve used, love it.

It’s definitely a process to use this. I find it impossible to use the tiny brushes that come with it, so it’s good that I have my own. I only use the small angled brushes for applying the wax (which goes first.) I’m worried that I’m going to run out of wax way before color, though.

let me start off by saying i bought this product after my nyc charcoal eyebrow pencil quit sharpening. i saw the reviews on here as well as the customer photos and so i bought it and it was pretty inexpensive in my opinion. i wasn’t sure which color i’d end up using on my brows. i have dark eyebrows but black has always been too dark so i’ve used charcoal and i wasn’t sure how dark the grey would be. i received it pretty quickly, wasn’t damaged at all and was actually surprised with the black. the black isn’t a jet black, it’s a mix between black and charcoal and the grey is a bit lighter than it looks online but i’m not disappointed. not sure if i’m gonna use the wax or not but i’m very happy with my purchase. the colors are smooth, they go on easy and they don’t require alot of swipping in order to get enough product on the brush. now i did see people say they didn’t like the brushes so i ordered one seperately but i will say the issue with the brushes is their size. they’re a bit difficult to hold but the powders are 10/10.

Greta product!

I have very thin brows from over-plucking when I was younger, plus my hair is a dark golden brunette while my brows are a dark gray brown which can wash me out. Every time I tried a new brow product that I hoped would match the dark warm tones in my hair I was left with either something far too orange or red. This product is perfect. I don’t have beautiful brows, but this makes them look naturally fuller and thicker. It also adds the perfect amount of color into them that compliments my skin and hair tone! I love being able to just swipe on some wax, dab the powder into the brows and have them look great!
