Great product! Perfect for special effects makeup! Not hard to use! I am an ammature and it didn’t take me long to figure out. Attached photos of my makeup with this latex used. Not bad for my first try! Such a large amount of latex. I could use it for Halloween for the next 5 years. Haha

I got this about a month ago but have been so busy I haven’t gotten a chance to use it until today. First thing is this came in the mail SUPER fast almost 2-3 days before estimated delivery and it was packaged in a cushioned bag inside of another bag for added protection! It is easy to work with, dries fast and the smell isn’t too harsh! I absolutely love this product and will be getting more!

A living dead girl has gotta have her liquid latex! I just moved out of Los Angeles and can no longer visit my favorite Cinema Secrets store for my makeup needs, and when Halloween came around I unfortunately discovered that I was out of liquid latex! (Insert ominous thunder clap) I found the Monster Liquid Latex online and decided to give it a try. For the size of the bottle, you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. This stuff will last me a good while! I normally use liquid latex for bite marks, flesh wounds, burns, lacerations, small topical prosthetics and rotting skin. It layers well and applies well. It’s a bit runny, so you’ll need a few layers to get it to a decent thickness. I gave myself wounds all over my body and had been dragged across a concrete floor (ah, the theater life) and the liquid latex held fast without any separation from skin. It blends well with foundation so I can get it pretty close to skin tone without having to buy the more expensive skin tone colored latex and cream makeup applies well to it, but will rub off quickly if you don’t set it. A good powdering keeps it from sticking to itself and I can tear and rip it well to get the effect that I desire without issue. I would definitely try this liquid latex again!

Let me start this by saying I have NEVER attempted to do any kind of special effect makeup. I hardly even wear regular makeup and I’m a novice at that. But I had a Walking Dead party I was going to and wanted to go as a cool zombie. So I watched a few video’s on youtube using liquid latex and toilet paper or kleenex. So I built up layers dried each layer with a hair dryer and ripped it then filled it in with blood paste and lipstick and the colors you see in the other pic. I won the contest for best zombie. It was a blast and so easy it took awhile make an hour and a half. But like I said I had really no clue how it was going to look and had never done this before. So if I can do this anyone can. The pic shows the products I used minus a red lipstick. It was so fun. I can’t wait till this Halloween. The Gashes, wounds looked real!!

As far as the actual product, it does everything liquid latex should do as well as any other brand, and smells less strongly than others I’ve used. However, I wouldn’t purchase this unless you intend to move it to another bottle as the cap (which is different from the one in the photo) does not seal properly at all, allowing your latex to not only dry out, but spill everywhere. Happy with the product but very disappointed in the packaging, I would suggest the company redesign the bottle and add an extra seal like other brands.

8/10 would reccommend.

Smells horrible – but a great product. I made quite a few prosthetics and was able to play around with the medium. Dries quickly with a slightly yellow tint, but nothing some foundation couldn’t take care of. Again, a great product, definitely will buy again.

This product was fun and worked great but my daughter had an allergic reaction to it so we ended up returning it.

Very pleased with this product! I needed to make masks for a play and needed a large quantity of latex, but am on a budget. I’m so glad I found this, I got 3 bottles for under 30 dollars and it works great!

Comparable to Ben Nye!

Purchased as a gift for an amateur FX artist, he like it a lot.

Good for adding detail to masks or simple layering makeup.
