Thumbs up from a total snob

I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I’ve given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc.

Been buying this for years–Favorite concealer!

This is a great product. I have very extreme dark circles and this works better for me than products that are 10x the price, and believe me I’ve tried everything. The sponge tip applicator is a little coarse during the first couple uses but it quickly softens up and is perfect for applying this product. I also use this stick to cover blemishes and dark spots and it blends very nice.

Great undereye and scar coverage!

I have used this product for years under my eyes, and have found that it blends and covers much better using a wet brush to blend after using the sponge applicator. It eliminates the cakey buildup and settling into creases that I originally experienced. I also recently had plastic surgery to revise a large dog bite scar on my lower lip and chin, and use this to conceal the incision while it heals. The pictures are one month post surgery with and without the product. It covers very well and is barely noticeable.

Great product.

I find that this product helps with the dark circles under my eyes, I use it daily with or without any other makeup.I apply it with the applicator then tap it with my ring finger to blend. It really brightens up the area

Covers my scar, great coverage, not thick

Overall very good product, decent size and a good price. Even though the product isn’t meant for covering scars I put it on my surgery scar and it covered it. I’ll post before and after pictures, although i would recommend this as a scar cover because it’s meant for your face as concealer it probably won’t last on a scar just showing everyone how it covers! ????

I’m an idiot that expects makeup to work best if its very expensive. I picked up this concealer along with a few essentials when I was on a business trip and forgot my makeup bag three years ago. It was $6.99 then. I generally see it for $7.99 at most retail drug stores now.

I was born with dark circles thanks to thin skin and severe allergies. Without make up, I look like a crack whore. This is definitely the best of the drugstore concealers. It’s easy to put on and the handy applicator controls the amount. I use an illuminator underneath the concealer which also helps. Worth the money.

I needed a switch! My former under eye eraser started to crease, (or I’m just getting older). I read all the reviews for concealers, and took a chance on this one.

IF YOU HAVE A COOL PALE/FAIR SKINTONE

Important: IF YOU HAVE A COOL PALE/FAIR SKINTONE, THIS WILL NOT COVER AS WELL AS A YELLOW CONCEALER. You will likely have fairly distinct blue or purple under the eye. I have pale cool skin, ashy brown hair and eyes, but this goes for anyone who has that pale pink/blue/gray skintones. I like Maybelline products for most everything. For a long time I’d used the Covergirl beige coverstick (has distinct yellow undertones). I thought the Light 160 would be a match but it has pink undertones. It is not.
