This is my favorite brow pencil I have ever used. I was actually going to fork up the cash to get the Anastasia Brow Wiz, but I heard that this was comparable, so I decided to give it a try and I love it! Even though my eyebrows are dark blonde, I got it in the brunette shade and I think it matches pretty close. It glides on smoothly and lasts all day. Will definitely be purchasing this from now on.

I LOVE this Loreal eyebrow pencil! I have thick eyebrows, but like to fill in the sparse spots to give me a more polished look. I’ve tried Anastasia Dipbrow before, but find this pencil so much easier to work with. I have brown hair and dark eyebrows. I’ve used both Brunette and Dark Brunette. They have both worked ok, but I definitely prefer the Dark Brunette shade for my cool-toned skin and eyebrows. The pencil itself goes on smoothly and I have never had any issues with the tip breaking. Highly recommend!

Great precision for a natural brow! No need to press too hard and risk breaking it, and the brush isn’t too rough on my skin.

I want to put it out there as a disclaimer for this review: I am a makeup junkie. I collect and use a variety of different products on a day-to-day basis. I love to try new releases, and compare to more similar (usually expensive) alternatives. I used to use Anastasia Brow Wiz in the color Medium Ash. I picked up the Loreal Brow Stylist Definer in the color Brunette – and I’ve gone through at least 4 of the loreal so far. It has the same amount of product, but the Loreal is between $7-$10 depending on where you buy it and the Brow Wiz is around $21. I even went back to the Brow Wiz to see how it compared and the only difference I could find is the the Brow Wiz is a little more stiff and waxy, and the Loreal is creamy and has a bit more pigmentation which I personally prefer. I will note however, that the Brunette is a warm brown (but not auburn), and the Dark Brunette is much more of an dark ash brown. For me, I like a warmer brown to balance out the black hairs of my brows since I have light brown hair with blonde bayalage. The dark brunette is comparable to the Brow Wiz color Granite. I would definitely try this out as a dupe!

For a long time I’ve used Maybelline Define a Brow in Dark Blonde, but it’s always seemed just a bit too dark. Then I saw the reviews for this pencil and decided to give it a try. It’s fantastic! Very similar to Anastasia Brow Whiz in Taupe, only not as warm. Pale brow pencils always tend to be warm (yellow). Not this one. Plus it lasts all day–longer than either of the two other pencils. It applies easily, and the tip doesn’t break off as easily as the Maybelline pencil.

Has surpassed many other products by a mile

The Stylist Definer Brow is perfect for me. I have thinning eyebrows and this product is great for filling in without looking artificial due to the creaminess and just the right color for my complexion. Applying the color is super easy and the little eyebrow brush is an added plus when you first begin and finish up. After searching for a long while, it’s such a relief to have found a product that works for me. If you have older, dryer skin and thinning eyebrows, I would recommend using L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Stylist Definer Brow Pencil.

I’ve gone through a lot of eyebrow pencils in the past. I have light blonde hair and very light eyebrows. Most blonde pencils are either too dark or way too light. This one is the perfect in between! The lines are also the right blend of it being distinct but feathery.

My only complaint is that there is no gray. The blonde does a nice enough job though. (FYI, I was a dark brunette who is now 40%salt/60%pepper.)
