As a life long sufferer of really dark circles, I am always on the lookout for something, anything,. to conceal them. I must have 30 – 40 concealers here right now and I am not exaggerating. They all work to a degree but none work to the degree I want them to. Also longevity is a huge issue for me. My circles look great when I walk out the door and an hour later, they’re baaaaack. I use concealer every hour. So when I saw this new orange concealer craze on YouTube, I decide it sure couldn’t hurt to try it. I bought

Great product. Great price.

I work night audit at a hotel so you can only imagine how my under eye dark circles would look in the morning when it’s time for me to go home. This concealer is very thick and hides all of my dark eye bags. Of course I put it on, Throw a foundation on and then set it with a powder and BAM It lasts all 12 hours. Amazing if you ask me.

needless to say I don’t see my dark circles peeking through my concealer like I use to

I have dark circles under my eyes from genetics, and was noticing that my concealer was covering them but some of my dark under eye would still show through. I got this after seeing lots of videos and doing research on color correcting; I apply just a little bit of this under each eye and make sure I blend it out really well, then I apply and blend my regular concealer over it, needless to say I don’t see my dark circles peeking through my concealer like I use to, this is some really good stuff.

Good orange corrector.

The four stars is for the horrible brush applicator that feels irritating when you apply it under your eye, especially after you’ve used it for awhile. This is a true orange color. It’s not a bright orange, but definitely is orange and not light salmon or pink. It is not bright orange (like the MAC), but it has a good balance of color. It works great as a color corrector on my dark skin. Depending on your skin tone, this may be too orange for you and you may need a more salmon color. For example, if I blend well, I can use this and just a powder and have it correct my dark circles under my eyes. A tip is that the saturation of the corrector should match the saturation of the area you are correcting. If you have light areas you want to correct, you need a lighter product. I would buy this again and use it with a concealer brush.

It works

I’ve heard so much about this product I had to try it. It’s probably a bit dark for my skin tone (light) but it definitely covers dark circles my problem is that I really don’t like to wear too much makeup and it requires a bit extra to cover this up. A little goes a long long way, it doesn’t cake or crease and it covers dark circles so this product gets 5 stars in my book.

Dark circle concealer

My dark circles aren’t as noticeable as I thought. However, when you stare at your face in the mirror day after day, you start to become annoyed with your “flaws” even if you are the only person who notices them. I’m not a makeup pro…I’m still trying to grasp the basics. I heard a lot about this product, so I figured I’d give it a try since it was so inexpensive. Putting on concealer seems easy, but if you put on too much, you’re going to have to wipe your face and try again. Put on too little and you won’t see a difference. This item doesn’t really come with instructions so it’s kind of trial and error. The product is definitely orange, and matches my complexion enough. The first few times I tried this out, I saw no difference. I felt that this formula is a little drying, so I made sure to moisturize my under eye area before applying the concealer. Overall, this is a decent product, as it does exactly what it’s supposed to do when your use it correctly and in conjunction with other products (foundation, for example).

Not bad for the price point!

For lower end color corrector it’s pretty good. It’s kind of hard to get out of the tube but, it’s not that serious. The key to using this product is a light application and body heat. Warming the product up either on the back of your hand or using your CLEAN fingers to gently tap it into the skin then buffing it with your beauty blender style thingy of choice. This is not meant to conceal anything. It’s mean to COLOR CORRECT making a neutral canvas for you to be able to add foundation/BB cream/concealer on afterwards.
