I have tried everything out there. I swear. I tried this product and fell in love with cleansing oils (once I discovered how they work, I tried several other brands). I have tried Bosia as well. I think the DHC one is probably the best because of the size of the bottle in relation to the price, the natural low-odor scent (which is basically none, so you know it’s not loaded with crap chemicals), and it’s smooth THIN consistency. The thinner the oil, the faster you can spread it over your dry face. Bosia (which you can buy at Ulta) is a little thicker, so it doesn’t spread and glide over your eye area as fast or easily as the DHC and for the price, the bottle is a lot smaller.

Love, love, love! Instead of normal whiteheads, I am prone to large, deep-set, hard pimples and after years of scrubbing my skin with harsh salicylic acid cleansers, an intense Internet search revealed to me that perhaps the problem was that I was using cleansers that were too rough, stripping my skin of its natural oils which lead it to produce extra oil to compensate, thus creating acne. I came to the conclusion that an oil-based cleanser might do the trick, so I gritted my teeth and paid the money for this product with high hopes and I was not disappointed. It does NOT leave your face greasy or oily after use and after a few weeks of using this consistently, my face cleared up immensely. I still get the occasional breakout, but it is nowhere near as bad as it was before. My skincare regimen now consists of two products (this one and an apple cider vinegar toner) and my face looks amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

This is the ONLY facial cleanser I’ve found gentle enough for my dry, sensitive skin, and I’ve tried plenty: Cetaphil, CeraVe, LancĂ´me, Clarins, Estee Lauder, etcetera. These are good products but my skin is so sensitive and dry that most of these products only served to further dry my skin. I’m happy to share that I LOVE THIS CLEANSER IT ROCKS!!! It leaves my skin soft, supple, smooth, hydrated and cleansed. I give it my highest recommendation, especially if you have dry, sensitive skin or live in a harsh climate. It’s wonderful!

It is amazing to me that you can cleanse your face with this heavy oil, must cleanse you can. It leaves my face feeling extremely clean and SOFT. Do be careful of your eye area when using ANY kind of oil and then cleansing with hot water as it can scald that tender area. I have a tendency to use this and other oils in the shower and then stick my face under the VERY hot water of the shower head. Not. Smart. Use a washrag as the directions instruct! Please do not construe that as anything negative towards THIS product, it can happen with other oils too. Just don’t ask me how I know because then I’ll have to confess my stupidity and tell you how this happened with another heavy oil product. When used correctly, this item is awesome. I’ve been very pleased with all of the products I’ve purchased from the DHC line.

AMAZING cleanser. I’ve tried so many cleansers, but this one is just beyond amazing. Not only takes everything off, including all eye makeup/mascara — but also improves skin, somehow. Someone else also mentions how it “pushed out” her blackheads and shockingly, the same thing seems to be happening to me. I’ve had blackheads on my nose my whole life and they’re just impossible to manage. But since starting to use the DHC oil, the pores seem to be pushing out the debris….and clearing up. They definitely are looking somewhat smaller, which is wonderful! Just a lovely cleanser to use! LOVE it!
